There are so many beans in my bean tunnel they are starting to scare me! :hmm
 
Snipping beans on the porch... I hope to be doing that in a few days. I've found enough to get a handful to munch while I pick a few things.

I have "walking salad" when I'm in the garden this time of year. Cherry tomatoes and beans right now.
Are you going to can or freeze them?

I can tomatoes, but not cherry toms. Those are for snacking. I have dehyrated them, and they were... ok.

I freeze beans, instead of canning. I prefer freezing because I like the texture better. I might can some this year, just to see if that's still the case. :)
 
Cooked dinner and sorted my jars and bands- tossed iffy lids,,,,,,, going to wash all of the jars and sanitize them, and set them upside down on the side table I set up. I'll wash up the QT jars I had on the shelf, I'll need them later for other veg. and pasta sauce,
after the jars are done, which wont take long, I'll cut and the GB's--
I'll have everything ready so FIRST thing in the morning, I will can them in pint jars.

Break time over, wash-wash-wash

at 11:45pm I had the first 9 pints in the pressure cooker

3 jars lots a bit of liquid---their still boiling took them out at 12:44

12:51am I am processing the last 9 pints of green beans, waiting on the rocker to start rocking so the 20 min count down can start
