Southern NY, Dutchess county and below

OK so this is the group from misfit island i call the red NN nemo for now but Christina and her daughter will be changing that. the little spangled one is also heading her way. its the little ham that is sneaking into the third photo.the black one has a screwed up toe and the little white one is jsut holding her own. she didnt like being woke up for photos.
The laced one looks like a Silver Laced Sebright? They are such friendly little birds if you handle them a lot. They tame easily in my experience.

Well, I am finally home again.

My mom has done so well after her triple bypass surgery. She will be 85 next month and lives alone. Unfortunately, she lives in Florida and does not drive. I have never been away from home or my husband for so long. I have missed so much. The last six weeks have gone by and I can't believe it is March. What happened to February????

So sorry to hear all the credit card and ID stealing. It is amazing that we all have had the same problems. My DH had his identity stolen many years ago but we both recently had credit cards compromised. What a "Bleeping" world!!!

I spent the last few hours, cleaning up the coop and puting in nesting boxes for my girls. When I got home, the had combs and wattles and are reddening up. So I figured. to be better safe than sorry and set it up today. Just realized that I need to paint two of the fake ceramic eggs blue for Ivy and Violet, my Ameracauna/EE. At least I hadn't missed the first eggs!

I love the baby chick pictures. My son, Redstar Rob, hatched out 10 chicks at his first attempt. Not bad! He sent his pictures to Florida. My mom and I loved seeing them.

My next week will be palying "catch-up". Also, now that I am home, I can get on the contractor's back to finish up my house so that Hurricane Sandy will be a distant memory. We just got the last check from our insurance company, so I guess that will provide the incentive to get the job done!!!

So happy to be back!

Irene

Welcome back!

OK , I should never be allowed to go on any other threads. I went on the "about to get some chicks" thread First mistake. Then onto the thread entitled "confinement" started by the same person. I think Roberta should check out the second one.
I should hold my comments till someone else checks them out. What the F?

Can't find either by searching. Do you have a link?
