Spring Granny Square Swap

Hi everyone. I'm back!!!!!! I made it through the month and everything for my husbands installation as Master of the local Masonic Lodge went just fine. It took a lot of work, not just by me but by others that volunteered to help and it was a great success. I presented my hubby with n engraved gavel and had to say at the time of presentation "Worshipful Master may I approach the east?" to be able to give it to him. Afterwards I told him that was the one and only time I would call him Master

The day of installation it was raining and we were having wind gusts to 65mph so I ruined a $30.00 hairdo to rescue a coop that had blown over. (my how we love our chickens)

How is everyone doing on their granny squares? I have 30 done. I'm just getting used to the this new way of posting. It will be fine once I get used to it. I hope everyone has got started. I think we'll have some lovely squares to swap.

Welcome back. I'm glad all is well. A hairdo is a small price to pay to ensure the safety of chickens. Posting is easy once you're used to it; I haven't tried pictures yet. My squares are finished. Seventy are for the swap and ten pink or pink & purple ones for Writer's children. When the count is in I'll divide the seventy into sets and the remainder will be added to the children's. Twelve is good. I had to get to twelve before I could get to seventy. Also, I made an error. I don't have ten pink ones for Writer's class. I have seven.

For some reason I'm not getting the posts. I wondered why it was so quiet. I have 30 done and am thinking of making more. It seems everyone is well but guess everyone is busy with their blocks. I hope I start getting posts again as I miss all our chatter.
