We have 6 chicks so far! 2 eggs were externally pipped when we went to bed so they may have hatched. These chicks are my favorite and I'm hoping most are pullets

There are 8 chicks now out of the 10 eggs that made it to lockdown. 2 are not from Squatch. We have a lot of feather feet chicks, 6 to be exact!

Hoping next year to get some Buffs and maybe cross them with Jerseys, always been curious how this mix would turn out.

I'm going to cross the Brahma mix with the jerseys next year in the spring. Should make a really nice chicken.

I'm in love with my Cochin jersey crosses. I can't wait to see how they grow out!

They have such different personalities than the ones I first hatched. I hope several are pullets We really like a few of them. They'll look amazing in my current flock. My Cochins have been probably one of my favorite eye candys.

Congrats on the chicks, my SFH got to see the outside yesterday for the first time. I did not keep them outside long. Awoke to 32 degree temps this morning. They are nice and toasty inside...
