Stolen Horse--Man is BACK in jail!

Even if they are based out of NY, I'm sure they would travel? Especially if they have a TV SHOW!!! That's a huge deal - I can't imagine they have a whole lot of people with stories like yours. I'd definitely contact them!!

I just read this whole thread and can not for the life of me understand why no one is doing anything, if you loan some one your car and they don't bring it back at the time agreed it is consider stolen end of story if they sale said car the person who bought weather they knew it was stolen or not gets charged so why the heck can't this apply to a horse he borrowed the horse until said date, he did not bring it back there for it is stole he sold it to his uncle there for the uncle received stolen property have you went to the law enforcement where the man and uncle live and file a complaint with them maybe filing there those officers or DA may do something since the property in in that county, just a thought I would call that county's local police dept and see what they can do, in small claims court they could decide to pay you the amount instead of returning horse I would call more local law enforcements in the county where the horse is and see what they can do. also check here we have a law firm that takes cases when people don't have the money to pay an attorney Don't give up keep making calls writing letters, ect, the squeaky wheel get the attention. I will be praying for the safe return of your horse.

but I would also look into getting an independent repo person.

I've been follow this thread for a while now. It seems to me that there is something hokey going on here. Do these gentlemen have a connection to someone in the Sherrifs/DA's office? I would contact the STATE attorney General's office. See what they have to say. They are your advocate no matter where in the state you live.

With you being able to show all of that evidence, and they aren't even willing to go talk to these guys? There is something going on with the good ole' boy network and you are getting screwed. Get someone involved who is above them in power, and not part of the network.

There are people on the state level who have jurisdiction that can help you. Contact your State Representative, your Senator, and the Attorney General. Make sure you note to them that the local authorities have all been contacted and will not give you due process of law.

Seriously. The only way you are going to get that horse back is the repo man. You ought to be able to find one who will free lance and be a lot chepaer than going through an agency.

What is it with people suggesting reality TV shows on this forum? Every fricken time I turn around someone's suggesting a phone call to Cesar Milan or Dr. Phil or Rescue Ink or...

Gimme a break, people!

Now, about small claims court...who are you suing? The guy who took the horse, or the guy who currently has the horse? If you sue the guy who currently has the horse, all he's gotta say is that he got it from the other guy and it's not his problem. If you sue the guy who took the horse, they might award you the value of the horse instead of the horse itself.. Either way could be bad.

I guess I just don't understand what's wrong with simply going to pick up your horse???
