Okay Rooster, that's just weird. I'm the daughter of a mechanic with kids the same age. My son is 17 and my daughter is 13.

I was a band geek in high school. I play clarinet, bass clarinet, and tenor saxophone.

There were 48 seniors in my graduation class. I was #15, but the first to walk across the stage.

I majored in music in college, but dropped out. I ended up becoming a certified nursing assistant.

I got to witness a C-section while in training. It was WAY cool.

The doctor who performed it later delivered my son when my OB was gone on a trip, and was my OB while pregnant with my daughter.

I swore I would never marry anyone from the town I grew up in, and I wanted to have at least two kids, one of each. Somehow that happened.

My best friend and I have known each other since we were 12. We've been like sisters for about 27 years.

I met my husband about mid-October 1986 and he popped the question on Christmas, two months later. We got married a year to the day after we met. We've been married 20 years.

My husband is only 3 months 12 days older than me.

I raised chickens in Ag in my freshman year of high school. I either sold them or butchered them. It would be 22 years before I raised chickens again.

I had mallard ducks about the same time, but the neighbor's dog killed them. I tried ducks once last year, but haven't been able to keep them from getting eaten.

I'm an amature genealogist. I have about 6300 individuals recorded in various branches.

I am very much into all branches of natural science. I think I missed botany as my calling. Second to that would have been a trauma nurse.

I've been to Yellowstone and Mt. Rushmore twice.

I once had a chinchilla as a pet.

Something about me that will SURPRISE you???

Once got clocked going 70+ MPH on one wheel through intersection.

surprizing enough?? If not just ask I have no real secrets, that I know of.

Bahahahahaha.....I notice every Knouse truck I see now. Only thing different now is I'm trying to peer into the cabs and still stay on the road. Course, I don't know what I'm looking for because I don't know what you look like! I'm fairly certain thats not you in your avatar......right?

I've "broken into" over 2000 different automobiles.

I got my drivers license on my 16th birthday but it was for motorcycle only. It would be another 2 years before I actually got a car drivers license.

I drove a 1985 LE Gold Wing when I was 16 and had it until my Dad sold it when I was around 19.

I was a "fan club" president when I was in my late teens.

I started an organization for wives, girlfriends and family members of Navy submariners and it has been going strong for 10 years now. I turned over the reigns a few years ago to another submarine wife.

Take care,

Tami

Humm...gosh, I'm kinda boring but, here I go anyway-

I left San Diego, CA to move to Colorado...to raise chickens and live FREE!

I was going to become a certified interprerter for the Deaf in San Diego.

I once had a fancy hairless rat for a pet and his name was Pelon (means Bald)

English is my second language

I have a half brother that looks IDENTICAL to me (not twin different mom)

I've had 5 major ear surgeries (good thing I know some sign language)

I have a rod in my ankle from a fracture.

See...boring!

Uh... let's see. When I was in kindergarten, they almost put me into speech therapy and ESL because they didn't know I could speak English. I literally would not talk in class, but they figured out I knew English when I blew away the entry tests which were in english. Apparently I knew english and basic concepts pretty well, just that I didn't say anything. Now nobody can make me shut up.
