Nice. I think Cayugas are very pretty birds with unique eggs.

I am looking forward to them getting bigger. Can't wait for eggs!

Anyone close to DFW have any bantam or standard brahmas, bantam d'anvers, or bantam or standard phoenix chicks they are willing to sell? I am needing chicks for photos this weekend for easter, and instead of just picking up whatever I can find at TSC this weekend, I would really like some birds I want to have anyway in the future. Looking to get anywhere from 4-10. Also Looking for 2-4 muscovy ducklings for photos. Again, if I can't find any chicks then I will just head to TSC and pick up some layers to raise for my brother-in-law.

On another note it looks like my husband and I will soon be putting a down payment on 2.6 acres. Finally! No more renting, at the end of the year when our lease is up we hope to move out there with a mobile home or a camper.

Is it possible for them to go broody so soon? She is only 7 months old. I've been checking around the yard and haven't had any luck with any hidden gems. I'm hoping that's the case though :-/

They can be hidden deep in the bushes. Recently found a year old one in the overgrown crossvine.

Went ahead to TSC and could not resist the bantam bin. I have 7 new bantams and I hopefully will be picking up some muscovy ducklings this week. Need to post in the ID this area hahaha
