Hope you find the chicks you are wanting. And congratulations on the land purchase. I rented for over 10 years. I totally understand your excitement and anticipation.

Didn't find any so ended up picking some up at TSC and the guy with the ducklings wouldn't message be back, and then told me today they were all gone. Sadness. :( But on the other hand good news since we are just waiting for that tax return for the down payment for our land. I can't wait. Next february we plan to be out there living on it. It is a ways drive to work, but going to be worth it in the long run. Not to mention the price of land in the area will skyrocket in a few years due to city growth. :) then perhaps we can purchase a larger property.

I've got something that meows instead of peeps in the chick room! Last night while clearing old wood we found a tiny malnourished orange tabby kitten. We know the mother all too well, a calico that has had over 3 dozen litters in the past few years. We knew our boxer dogs would leap at the chance to play with the "toy" of a kitten so we took him in. Now I feed him every 2 1/2 hours and he has been adopted into our family! Meet Milo!
