Texas

Great news. Both of these boys have found a new home. One is staying in Richland Springs with several girls of his own. The other is going to Dripping Springs to a Longhorn farm to add to the existing flock there. He will be integrated into a large flock that already has one rooster. Please pray that the integration goes smoothly. I have told them I will take him back if it doesn't work out and they cannot find a peaceful home for him.
I'm so happy that you found them homes. I hope it all goes well!

Update. I was told there was a rooster already at the farm, but there is not. Now I am even happier for Little Roo!

Hi all, cross-posting at suggestion from another BYC forum - we are in Central Texas and looking to rehome our ducks. Short story is that we are preparing to move cross-country and while we initially planned to move our 'backyardigans' with us, working through logistics is a concern - as is mounting concerns of how they'll deal with it!

We’d really like to keep the ducks intact as they have literally all grown up together - started with Martha and Elizabeth, hatched the Anconas and then realizing the Ancona drake had a 'thing' for Elizabeth, the ‘triplets’ of the younger Welsh Harlequins arrived when they were days old. (Richard still prefers Elizabeth, and the triplets scare him.)
Ducks
3 Anconas - 1 drake (Richard), 2 hens - 4Y old (Camille, Catherine)
5 Welsh Harlequin - 2 hens are 5 Y old (Martha and Elizabeth) and 3 are 2Y old (Katniss, Arya, and Prim)

They are great layers and loaded to the ... wing tips... with personality.

I hope you find a great home. I want ducks, but we have too much water and too many hawks.
