the buk-buk-BA-GOK!! when?

Ok so I've been hearing the squawking and then finding eggs...ok, but when do they do their egg squawk? Is it while they are laying or afterward? I went out to see and Roz was on the next doing her thing but Dolley was sitting above her doing the buk-buk-BA-GOK!! sounds. Do they cheer each other on?

Min seem to bark (really sounds like a bark) a while before laying...but not always.

Mine always do it AFTER they lay the egg. Although sometimes they just do it for fun (or to confuse me). Sheesh.

Mine have done it both before and after. I swear my Gold Sex Link did it to get let out of the coop......every morning at 6:30.

And yes, I have had chorus egg songs before too.
