Both of our flocks follow me around the dog run when I let them out (separately). They won't explore unless I go with them it seems. Pretty hilarious having a dozen birds following you wherever you go. lol They love munching on Thimbleberry leaves, eating bugs, and keeping the Burdock at bay. Never thought I'd have so much fun with chickens!

My BC hen went broody on the first of this month, today I placed four eggs under her!
I can't wait to see what happens! I don't have my hopes in the sky (high hopes) because I do not want to jinx it.

But I can't wait!!!

Also, today I let me twin SF hens outside, (They can't go out alone!)
And my hen Tinkerbell, they ran around. Silly Trixie, (my SF hen) ran under the porch and I had to crawl in to get her!

She is a silly character,
I went to bring them back and they were making a LOT of noise, they love to talk!
When my Dad thought both of them... (Charlotte and Trixie the SF twins) ... were roosters, He wanted to name Trixie "T-rexy" Lol.

But she lays eggs, so Trixie is fine!

And yesterday!
Wow, I let the chickens roam the barn with my Guinea hen,
at the end of the night... Ten instead of nine chickens were in the coop!

My guinea hen got in! Lol.

Hello,

So, today is ultra hot in Maine!!!
Guess what, it looks like it's gonna storm!! Again!

That's dangerous!

So anyway, I let a few of my Brahma's roam with my Guinea hen and NH hen.
They were hot, so i gave them baths. Pipi, one of my BB's stood in the water bowl the hole time!

I even put another egg under Inde, the broody hen I talked about above!
Yay! I can't wait to see what happens!
