Yes...it does.
Ok, so I am going to look at your numbers again..
Being a total idiot as far as math goes, I just split it down the middle.
If I had 60 eggs I would choose 30 of the higher shape Index values and literally put then in a separate hatcher.

There probably is a better "more scientific way" but this is what I did!!

Kiki, when I did it, I only set the eggs that met MY criteria (visual inspection) for being a "female shaped" egg. Therefore, the only thing I looked at after hatch was the % of pullets produced.
I'm talking about how she keeps track of the egg shells she mails in to have sexed.

I've measured my eggs and they are now in lock down. If I do a rough guestimate of the numbers, anything below 3.XXX is a cockerel and anything 3.XXX and above is a pullet. By that estimate I'll get 5 to 6 pullets from this hatch. One egg is on the bubble of being below the 3.XXX number. Not counting my chickens before they hatch...just saying ;)

3.081863 - olive
2.909887 - olive
3.017713 - olive
3.00972 - olive
3.047242 - blue
3.004337 - blue
2.851936 - blue
3.131795 - pinkish
2.894093 - pinkish

Predictions:
The 2 pinkish eggs = 1 pullet & 1 cockerel
The 4 olive eggs = 2 pullets, maybe another pullet and 1 cockerel
The 3 blue eggs= 2 pullets, 1 cockerel

Now I sit on my hands and wait...:fl
Ok, since I am so used to doing it in MM, I converted your inches to what I understand
Here it is in same order:
Olive- 78.2793202*
Olive-73.9111298
Olive -76.6499102*
Blue-77.3999468*
Blue-76.3101598
Blue-72.4391744
Pinkish-79.547593*
Pinkish-73.5099622

* is my prediction on pullet
Is this what you came up with as well?

Yes ma'am, its the same. You left an Olive egg off the list :) which I speculated might be a be a pullet as the number was in the 76.4468 range. Working off of my theory that I should compare one hens egg sizes to determine what her pullet egg number would be, I also speculated that since there was such a large difference in the lowest number for the blue eggs that the 76.3101598 would be a pullet.

It's all a guessing game at this point...but time will tell. Now if the hatching gods will be with me and all of these babies will hatch, we'll see what we get! Thanks for sharing your knowledge and predictions!!

Thanks, great to have you! The more the merrier!! And the more people who do this, the more accurately we can tell if this theory has an merit to it!!
I can't believe they have digital calipers at Home Depot! I had been looking online everywhere, and finally found a decent quality/ priced one, however I had to wait several weeks for it to arrive!!
