The IMPORTED ENGLISH Orpington Thread

Yes they do look to be english...hard to tell from the pics though...but it looks like that blue roo either has mites and lice or he has been beat up by other roosters..looks like he is missing a ton of feathers of his back side.
he was in with turkeys where i got him that's why he's in rough condition

Did you see the black orp i posted because i believe he is in much better condition. The only thing I'm confused about is the hens they came with because they're considerably smaller than both the roos so i think the hens are of American blood lines

here's a better pic of the black roo hope it helps I'm still new to orps and any advice would certainly help

I know that's why I'm trying to feather them out with a high protein feed but i don't understand why the hens are considerably smaller than the roos, any ideas??

Try adding Calf Manna to their feed. It's full of vitamins and minerals they need. My Buff Orps get about a heaping tablespoon each, every day.

I have fallen in love with the Lavender Orpingtons and Jubilee Orpingtons. I so would like to add a handful to my flock. Please contact me, if any one is selling. I live in Arizona, and have been ordering day old chicks off the internet. So far, I have been very lucky. I have ordered as few as 6 at a time, and they have all arrived healthy and sound. Please put me on a waiting list for the imported English Orpington. Thank you, Ivana
