Having pure blacks will be really nice..specially if they look like your split.

educate me..to test for pure black..you breed a male to a chocolate hen and if all chicks are black..it is pure?

I know that I will have to cull hard when they mature. That's what breeding is about when you want to get to a certain standard.

I hatched out a splash 10 days ago and normally I do not post pictures of splashes. This chick is huge! I have never had such a big chick. I just have to post it.
