Oh and Joy thanks for those pics. I did a comparision and I think I may have a young Winston on my hands in a lighter color version. I will take monthly photos and post. Love his color. He is just now getting his dark saddle. He is bigger than the other blue cockerel the same age but is maturing slower. He is so tall that sometimes he just sits down to eat. so funny to watch him. Very good nature too.

So before the photo shoot, they loved me, but NOW they all hate me...saying things like MOM why did you put these crazy colors on us, and MOM why are you pushing us all around and MOM I'm going to fool you and we are all going to be BOYS! But I caught them reading girlie magazines so I think I'm fine with a few

Both very fine cockerels, Sandy. thanks for sharing those. I love looking at everyones progress. It is very exciting that so many now have such great looking blue and black Orps. Maybe we can all continue to improve them in size and shape and color. Great looking combs on both those guys.
