The white specks are normal with Cayuga. It's common with black ducks in general I think. I know @shawluvsbirds Cayugas and @Miss Lydia Runners got white feathers after molting.

Betty sounds like a great name. Those Runners sure do make it easy to love them.

Worthless muts.
