I'll be honest, I had no idea how loud baby chicks are.Making lots of noise. Moving into the brooder today.
I don't know if I would say that, but they definitely seem to be more consistent than ducklings. The ducklings chattered like a community, where is the chicks just seem to chirp whenever they want. Overnight, my gosh the chicks are much more consistent, where the ducks only really made noise on when spooked. What an exciting evening and morning you have had! They sure are cute. Are they louder than ducklings?
Thanks Elly! How are you and the new ducklings doing today?Good morning everyone!I pray y'all have super blessed day!
I pray that your other Blue Isbar egg hatches, Trim! Your new little hatchlings are adorable!

You're welcome! Thanks Elly! How are you and the new ducklings doing today?
Wheeeew! I thought I had it rough just watching the 2 boys. Six is quite the handful. You're welcome!
I'm good for now, but today is about to get crazy!Mama's going to be gone for most of the day and she's leaving me to babysit 6 of my overly wild siblings!
My new duckies are doing great! They're very lively and adorable! Next Monday the hatchery is going to ship me 15 more for free since a third of them died.
Yes, I'm very pleased that the hatchery is compensating me! They have very good customer service!Wheeeew! I thought I had it rough just watching the 2 boys. Six is quite the handful.
That's good the hatchery is compensating you. It's never good to hear about ducklings dying, but it is always good to hear about good customer service.
I hope you have a great day and don't pull your hair out in the process.![]()
