You know that panic when you wake at 2am because you don't remember locking your flock away? Only to retrace the steps of the day and realise you didn't even let them out. Yep. Is currently 10 to 4am here and I'm now wide awake. Haven't checked quail eggs yet as incubator is being gaurded by cat that sounds exactly like the shrieking one thats in every movie and tv show.

Oh and he totally lied about just taking the girls and coming right back. His wife was posting the whole family was going as it was cold in their house and they didn't have electricity. And our stupid governor, forgot that the State of TX is not on the grid and the federal govt doesn't have any requirements that apply. The Generators of electricity are unregulated except by the Republican legislature and ERCOT which The Governor appoints three members. You really can't fix stupid. Ok electricity back on. I have water because private well and Rant over. Sorry.
