Good morning all! Even though I have a maremma and the ground is a carpet of mice, the fox that was out my kitchen window this evening still makes me nervous. Hopefully Biscuits can keep the birds safe, and not end up on the road

Hoping the fox finds its way to the road. Sleep well Wunda

Hopefully the fox will gorge on the mice and leave the birds alone. Do you lock your birds up at night?

We do. They are locked up most the time due to the hawks. Not that they've ever hunted the chickens, but I don't want to give them the opportunity either. All the birds are accounted for thankfully. We believe the fox comes around same time every night, we just don't know which way he comes in (sometimes behind house last 2 nights infront) so I believe hubby is going to sit on shed roof about 15 minutes before he's due and wait.
