We've already had a year and a half average rainfall in 5 months. How good if we could bottle up the excess to save for the drought years

This fellow has been living around our pool, discovering an over abundant food supply of frogs. And now he's found the perfect sunbaking spot in the yard. I had to chase him back over to the creek but he was reluctant to leave. He's an cormorant much larger than my runner ducksView attachment 3122287View attachment 3122288

Very rainy here too.
I've been trying to finish planting my garden but last couple days have been to wet.
There was a brief interlude this morning so I planted some strawberries and a basil plant, but that's it.

How old is she? What makes you think it's lost? E.g, does it look like shes trying to quack and no noise/wheezing noise comes out. Any discharge around eyes or nostrils?
