Thanks Chris it's a sweet name. Use it!! This little frizzle was a feisty one for being so little she ruled over the LF hens. Just couldn't hold her own against the LF rooster. He best friend was my LF Brahma hen both are gone now but I have pics and sweet memories of them.
Awesome! From here on she will be called Ebby.

Talk about a size difference between friends. I bet they where awfully cute together. Brahmas are yet another breed on my "must have someday" list.

And here I thought you were through hatching and more on the way!! lol Your going to need more property and a bigger coop :thumbsup
Oh I agree. About 10 more acres and 15 more coops, and I'll be half way where I want to be lol.
So far though, I've got nothing from the hatching but heartache. :(

I wasn't going to even try again, but @WVduckchick helped raise my spirits, so I'm giving it at least 1 more try.

Haha, I just love their stance. I just can't get over how cute and comical Runners are.

None of our Runners have drake feathers yet. There should only be 1, but they did send me 2 extra ducklings. There was only 1 ducking marked as male, but I doubt they sent me sexed females. I guess I could just do a quack test, but what fun is that? :)

Don't let thre f/w know, but I like the blacks better. I had a fella stop by here yesterday on a walk. He was watching them from the street so I invited him up to the fence. He'd never seen a black duck and just fell in love with Violet. I thought he was going to lose his marbles when I picked her up lol.
