So happy that I found this thread. I love those 60 ducks and the stories behind them. I thought 15 was bad. Wannabe makes me feel happy that I only have to feed the 15 and not 60, lol. Somehow I had lost the thread but was able to get it back. Hopefully I can still get notices for it.

It took me a little while to learn this trick, but am going to share it incase you ever loose us again. I am visual learner so have attached screen shots. First go into your navigation section and click on forums

Step two go down to watched threads

And then this will come up and just scroll to the quack shack and there we are waiting for you

So, that is going to be complicated:

Sadly the little duckling that i rescued on Monday fell asleep forever yesterday evening. It snuggled into my hand, fell asleep and peacefully passed away. Just before its little heart stopped, it opened its eyes, looked at me and was gone. Here is one of the last pictures:

It really looks peaceful...

Just an hour later, another duckling hatched from one of three abandoned eggs i rescued from Tweedledee's nest:

And there's life in the two other eggs, one4 has pipped internally already.

And Tweedledee Duck has lost yet another of her ducklings, not the youngest one, that hatched on Monday morning, but one of the older. She is down to five ducklings now.

She almost lost one yesterday. The little one got stuck in a fence (chicken-wire). I hert the peeping, went out, freed it and returned it to Momma. She thanked me by ripping my head off…

So sorry that you lost him. He was beautiful but at least he will suffer no more.

Do you have a limit as to how many Ducks you are going to have or is the sky the limit, lol. They are just so precious!!!!
