Culling the rest. :/ YAY, FREE BIRDS!! Plus for those of you who don’t know me well enough- I have a HUGE addiction to Old English Game Bantams (OEGBs).

I have to tell you about my OEGB roo Adam he has been the best surrogate dad to the Cochin Bantam chicks that hatched here . They are 6 weeks old now 2cockerels 2 pullets and him an mama are still taking care of them it’s the sweetest thing.

The bantam mix I have wouldn't be good for picking your teeth. Not sure about OEGB though.

They are tiny. Of course I can’t even imagine eating my big Muscovy drake either so size to me has nothing to do with it. How’s the new babies doing?

Yup, my black runner boy and the fawn/white girls made some real pretty babies. The 2 yellow ones were not from them but the blue and dark one are. They are all very pretty little ducks and are changing so fast.View attachment 1820974

if you mean my new babies, Sparkles is growing and Beverly appears to be a drake, though he's been a good mom. Natasha is very happy.
