Of our next incubator batch, two eggs started to develop but failed early. The other ten seem to be well. Air sacks maybe a bit small again? Dropped humidity to 45. It is day 14. Also, more hedgehogs.

Dude, we had two beautiful healthy ducklings and nine dead ones.. Was it me, was it the incubator, at this point I'll believe anything, I just want to do better.

Neither nor! - Just one of those dang stray alpha particles.
Even momma ducks experience failures…

So sorry that even with flight skills they were not able to get away from the predator. Do they others seem to be alright now? I pray that they are.

Dux are always positive thinking! They have all calmed down, but now i have three patio-ducks, Duckling #12 has joined Harry and Sunny.
And apparently the crows are back in town, i found a couple of empty eggs outside the duck run…
