Morning guys. I'm not doing too great today. Spent most the night in the RR getting sick. I'm not looking forward to today. On top of throwing up, I left a big stock pot of soup simmering over night and scorched it. I got so caught up in the moment I forgot about it.

I did get some quail yesterday though. Four ladies and one male.

Anywho, I'm starved. Going to see if I can keep some food down.

I hope you feel much better today Chris :hugs
Thanks Bob. If anything, this coffee is calming my stomach, and my headache.

Mary is only going to work for a couple hours today. She should be back around 10:00 est to take care of the kids.

I rarely get sick, but when I put ne down for a couple of days. Let's just say I did not enjoy the sound of the roosters this morning.

I've got a chicken. My AC hen does this strange pose when I pick her up. She'll squat a bit and articulate her wings in a "M" shape. It looks kind of like she's bracing for impact.

Thus is what normally leads me to seeing her do it. She doesn't like to be pick up, so I don't unless I need to. She doesn't run frantically when I approach her, but does walk away. I'll just herd her like a duck and she calmly walks away. Sometimes though, she'll walk 15ish feet, and just stop and "brace for impact."

When that happens, she starts looking over both shoulders like she's about to get stepped on. Im normally at least 4-5 feet behind her too, but she holds that position until I walk up and pick her up. Then she's fine and just lays down in my hand and lets me walk around.

Does this this sound like normal behavior? It's happened about a dozen times in the last ~6 weeks. I've tried getting a picture but have not been successful.
