I did not have my phone with me... there is no reception up there. So no sense chancing the phone falling in.


Speaking of loons, there was a huge raft of young loons on the lake.

I thought they would be gone.. but still there. I think I read the young ones go south for 2 years before returning..

Maybe they some good weather before going to the land of oppressive heat..

Eagles are no big deal, they are every where.

I actually thought the raft was bluebills when I first saw them. (Over a quarter mile away) then I saw one take off, the run on top of the water was a dead giveaway.

As much as you duxheads like dux, you would have loved the cabin the last couple days between dux on the pond, eagles chasing them and loons it wAs a great couple days.
