0.06 ml per pound of body weight.Tsc has 3 tubes. What would the dose for a chicken be?
The feed store did have the other brand and I pre purchased a tube. I'll be able to pick it up till this afternoon. Is it the same dosage as the equimax?0.06 ml per pound of body weight.
I didn't see the dosage here. Thank you.Can you go to a feed store and get a tube of Equimax? Tapes need praziquantel, and the Equimax is one of the few products that has it.

The dose is 0.03 ml per pound once, then re-treat in 10 days.
If they don't have Equimax you could use Zimectrin Gold. It has half as much praziquantel so you need to use twice as much, 0.06 ml per pound.

Yes, but not right this minute. Give me about 30 minutes. I've got to make food for the kids. Can you dissect the poop and get a better look at those bits?
Equimax = 0.03 ml per poundThe feed store did have the other brand and I pre purchased a tube. I'll be able to pick it up till this afternoon. Is it the same dosage as the equimax?
It is the gold series. Thank you for the assistance. I'll post pictures of the dissected poop as soon as i can.Equimax = 0.03 ml per pound
Zimectrin Gold = 0.06 ml per pound.
Note that it must be Zimectrin Gold, not just Zimectrin. Must have praziquantel.
Thank you.A 1 ml syringe can be found at most drug stores and Walmart pahrmacies for giving small doses of medications. For the Equimax 0.03 ml per pound, that would be 0.15 ml fora 5 pound chicken.
