Top of the morning ya'll.

Got another busy day today. Going to try and build the interior pin of the breeding section. I need to try and turkey proof the fence too. I'll be honest, I'm not a fan of these turkeys. They still don't care for me, and it's starting to rub off. Plus I think I've got a group of Toms... I know there are awesome turkey out there, but these are just a pain in the butt.

I'm 99%sure I only got 1 55F cockerell! Depending on how this breeding pin goes, they will likely be the 2nd breed to carry on pure. I'm still butt hurt about the FGCM, but that's the way it goes I guess.

When I was heavy in to plant breeding, I also found out there are a lot of poor quality vendors who will just put anything in a sac and sell it to you. Just like birds, some colors of flowers are sort rare while others are common. It was common to buy or trade seeds for a thought to be lost strain/color and get stiffed with the wrong item. We had a saying "it's a seedy business." Threats exactly how I feel about those FGCM eggs... Seedy...

Any idea what is making Sully's waddle wrinkle up like this?
When it rains...
It's something else every day. :th

Good Morning Everyone! Hope the worming helps get Mrs. Black back to feeling good again.
Why not try and sell your Turkeys Chris.
I've been considering it recently. I'd have to find someone who wants pet quality though. These guys all have the markings of a Royal Palm. The breed is Royal Palm x Broad Breasted White. They should be all white, and occasionally you might find a feather with colors. I read it is acceptable for a random colored feather to show up, but it's still not favorable. My turkey are extremely colored, like a midget Royal Palm. It's pretty, the parents where nice looking, but they are a horrible representation of the breed. What really stinks is I've already had people contact me for eggs and I've had to tell them I won't be circulating them. :(
