^^cracked pepper and habanero glazed "Firecracker" ribs...^^

This place is hands down some of the BEST BB-Q I've ever had. It might be cocky (15k hours of experience does that to a person), but I never (ever ever ever) like someone's BB-Q better than my own. I rarely even give complements like that to restaurants, but respect is given where it's earned. A true representation of southern hospitality. Family owned and operated through multiple generations. They even know how to make the batter stick to a fried green tomatoe! EVERY SINGLE BITE HAD BATTER! I hate getting fried green tomatoes at a restaurant. There's nothing worse than taking the first bite and having all of the batter fall off. Your left with this hot slimy booger of tomato, yuck! I can't even remember the last time I was so happy to give my money away!

Can we come for the 4th of July!!
All of that looks delicious!

Stop # 4: Breeders home.
Event: Happily giving money away again (twice in a day, very rare)
Hours till new addictive birds: -0.5 (running late)
Excitement: plateauing out, been a long day.
Pictures: Sadly none, it was her home and I didn't feel right photographing it.
(gets better on the next stop)

My son got his first chicken! He expressed that he wanted one, has been very good with our current flock, and even offered to pay for it himself! So I figured it was time for a bit more responsibility. Obviously I'll be there for him and the bird, but it is his bird to care for. I'm excited for him and look forward to teaching and learning with him.

This is Annie! Annie is a Pyncheon & Serama mix, and has an adorable afro. Oh, she had blue feet too!
