Hi Chris and Patti :frow
Hi there @Grammy60 welcome to BYC, it's nice to meet you. Feel free to join in on the chats. I (and everyone here) love pictures, so feel free to post them here if you feel like it. Stories are welcomed too! :D

I briefely read your intro, and I'm pretty sure with the birds you have, theres at least 1 funny story. How do you like raising turkeys? After meeting (and being serenaded by) an extremely social turkey, I really want some. ;)

Edit: Hi again! I didn't see your name was Sue before. It's a pleasure to meet you, I am Chris.

Well howdy folks. I've been dealing with some less than favorable stuff the last few days, but I'm taking a break from that for a few moments. Take some time to enjoy the better things happening around.

Annie, the Pyncheon/Serama mix is gaining popularity here, and fast. Xaiden (my son) has been very good to his lil' girl, and she has also responded well to all of us. I love her looks, to me she is very pretty and looks mostly like a Pyncheon to me, at least her coloring.

I love, <3, (less than 3) her feet! The blue color is just so unique to me. It might not be unique at all, but she is the only chicken we have with them. ;)

When rounding up the chicks for cleaning time, she already is putting herself in the pen. I thought it might be a comfort thing to her, but she doesn't mind being out either. She's very easy to handle too. As long as she's right side up (kind of assumed right?) she doesn't flap a single wing to pick her up.

I'm super curious to see what her little afro turns out to look like. If I had to guess, it'd be just like a regular Pyncheon crest, but she's not pure blood, so I'm hopeful for something really different. Regardless what she looks like later, she is already special!

A'pollo not sure about where the water bottle falls in the pecking order...
His tiny attitude is adorable. He's not aggressive with the other chicks, but he is a semi-alpha of the flock. Actually... He might be second to a Silkie... They've done the chest bump, wing flapping gestures to each other. Only thing is, A'pollo can actually fly. Flop just flaps his wings at 1k mph and jumps about 2 inches.
