I typed and deleted about 4 comments.
No need to stir a well churned pot.

I had someone who I felt was provoking me with condescending comments... It took a lot of restraint to not fire off that pm.Be proud of me, I didn’t even send a pm that time!
(it's supposed to be punny). Anyhoo, I ended up with 2 female pekins when they were 2 weeks old and I never in a million years thought I would be a duck owner. I love them and couldn't imagine parting with them. They're super spoiled (just like the rest of my tiny zoo) and they have their own personalities and are a part of the family. My husband would agree that 2 is enough, especially since he is allergic to almost every animal we have (2 dogs, a cat, a rabbit, 2 ducks, and 2 geckos). I raised and released box turtles for 8 years and my aunt and I co-own 2 macaws (1 red and 1 blue/gold), an African grey parrot, and a cockatoo.

They're all a bunch of quacks!I'm beginning to find that bird owners are a different breed of people(it's supposed to be punny).

I never in my wildest dreams thought I would be a duck lover either. I never even thought I would raise Birds to be honest. I sure am glad that it happened though. Life is always throwing curve balls at us, every once in a while that happens to be a good pitch.Anyhoo, I ended up with 2 female pekins when they were 2 weeks old and I never in a million years thought I would be a duck owner. Good luck with your feather babies and we're all here to "watch" them grow with you.
I've always wanted to befriend a Macaw, heck a African Grey too! I've been thinking about getting my son a gecko but my wife is very resistant. If it's fluffy and cute no problem. Exoskeletons and scales are a whole different story. That story starts and ends with only 1 word. "No"
