I know you mentioned getting chicks from Bob. Are you going to have ant other fowl or just chickens?

I've been going out several times a day to interact with the ducks. Normally I pick one up and talk to it for a bit. This is one was very interested in my phone. I love the white streak from its eye.

I do enjoy looking at your geese.
Do they sleep with the ducks?

Thanks they are so funny. Missy got carried away in the pool doing somersaults etc and scared everyone away. No the don’t sleep with the ducks. They have their own house. My Muscovy drake would never hear of Sam the gander sleeping in the same house.

I want to get Bob's Barred Hollands, but he said that they quit laying until next spring. Looking at some ducks for now. My place is by a creek, behind the barn/lean too, perfect for ducks. I had Pekins many years ago.

I am thinking about getting some meat birds from an AZ member in Phoenix to break in my new chicken "palace". The lean to is 24 feet long, so 1/2 ducks, 1/2 chickens with movable divider/blackout curtains so I can control the light, like I do for parrots.
