That's a cool looking spider!

I don't remember the species name off hand, but they are nomadic. Every night they build a large web to trap flying insects, and every morning they break it down, most times leaving no evidence they where ever there. During the daylight hours, most of the time they can be found on trees. With the way their 4 front legs comeback over their body, they just look like a bump or knot on the wood.

Most of the ones I see have a color scheme that blends well with tree bark with moss growing on it. That one has more red in it than I'm used to seeing. It could have recently molted too though. The hairs are pretty defined. (hairs get dirty over time and are easiest seen after a molt)

Right now my Muscovies alone, are going through over 120lbs of feed a week. It's a little..... more like a lot expensive, especially when it's all organic and non gmo!

Could someone tell me what LF means please? I see it as a prefix to a lot of chicken breeds, but have no clue what it means.

LF = Large Fowl as opposed to a bantam.

Good morning @Parront how's your day going?

Great! Our house is progressing, flooring guys started yesterday, move-in is planned for next Thursday! Hanging out at our old house today, but most days we are over there at the new place to move the smaller stuff and clean up the yard which was quite overgrown. Getting there bit by bit. We had a real estate agent at our old place to give us a quote on listing it. Lots of work, but better than waiting.
