The only work I have cut out for me today is catching the guinea. Not only is she much faster than I am, she's getting wise to my tactics.
She broke loose from my grip this morning, went straight up knocking my glasses off in the process. Those are one strong breed!

Last time she did that I went and got my wife.
"Wanna see me run around like and idiot? I'm sure it's worth a laugh."
Think she offered to help? Nope, to busy laughing at me.

Lol, yeah... I complain about it now, but that first winter in SC, I bet I'll have a different tune to sing.

You will get used to it. I have only been in Maryland for 2.5 years. I was born and raised in the Texas heat. My 1st winter here was pretty mild so I thought Wow that was no big deal and then the 2nd winter hit with lots of single digits and snow and I thought I was gonna die at times. In all honesty I will take the cold winters here over the Texas heat from hell! We still get hot and humid here in the summer but at least the evenings are comfortable. I could not move back to Texas I don't think and I love the hell out of that state. LOL

I was born in MO, but my only experiences with snow are from playing in it. It would be nice to have my son's be able to have that experience too. I mean you can always put more clothing on, but you can only get so naked (and even less places you can do it).
