I'm very happy with how the chicks are doing this time. Shammy is nice and strong, and I think Paddy has more vision than I previously thought.

I'm pretty sure Paddy can see. A couple of times when reaching in the brooder, I've startled her. It's not very often, and normally when I pr my hands in front of her. Once ore twice it was just from putting my hands between here and the light.

If those roos were fighters, the one had to be a bait bird or something. That poor thing looked like it needed some good food and meds fast. Neither of them seemed to be weary of me being there either. I was excited to see them from the car, but when I got closer was more frustrated than anything.
