That means I ended up with 5 Muscovy drakes from TSC not 4... I had gotten 5.

I have heard hatcheries send more drakes than ducks anyway. That’s too bad you ended up with 5 drakes. I tell ya this has def been the year of the drake out of 6 Runner ducklings I had 5 drakes.

While on the subject of roasting poultry, @duluthralphie, I have been advised that some feral turkeys are available to me if I can trap them. If using a cage style trip trap for live capture, would a peacock trap be big enough or would I need a dog trap?

Good morning everyone... I let out my chicken this morning in the snow and they looked so confused lol. I walked in on my muscovies doing their bussiness... But then my 6 month old pullet started doing the egg squat AND egg song!! I didn't think they would be laying right now they're so small!!

Your Muscovy are still mating? It finally stopped here my drake is in big molt and even lets the geese come around him now . That’s me making a big sigh. We’re having snow!
