I honestly prefer getting sexed ducks, after the horrific 5 muscovy drake incident I only got one nice boy out of it, Bella has a big attitude towards everyone except my dad... I think it's because he takes care of them while I'm gone in the morning but I am the one who saved them from a fox and helped them heal from sprained legs . Lucky is a big sweetheart though, he only likes me so he tries to attack everyone he sees I have to chase him off all the time

Opie my Muscovy drake always goes after my husband if he comes inside their area. It’s just like he looks at my hubs as another drake and has to get rid of him. lol

My brothers girlfriend is actually terrified of my ducks, she calls them 'dragons'. There was also this therapist that would see my sister every now and then, well one day the muscovies were sleeping in the yard, she saw them and pet them.. They grabbed onto her leg and wouldn't let go. After that she says "I never knew sleep was that important to them"

I did not that's quite.. odd? But pretty cool since it's cheap.. not cheap on the gas bill though to drive to a nearby pet store or feed store.. 40 minutes away My vets are closer!!

Not to point out the obvious, but hatching eggs is a pretty good way to get more hens. Just a thought.
Though, there's probably better (warmer) times to do it.
