I see well looks like you may have got took on that purchase! Poor Adams eye was swelled shut again brought him inside and put Terramycin eye ointment in it he had it open about 5 mins later and he is now back crowing! So hopefully that means he’s feeling better. The 2 Cochins are confined.

That's great Adam was able to open his eye. It stinks the Cochin boys are not working out though.

Chris your Roos don’t fight? You have quite a few right? My oldest roo no one messes with him but these little guys the 2 Cochins were beating each other up last week but at least they are same size.

Quacks are doing great. I enjoy those little things so much! They really are the life of the party. It’s been cold so I don’t get to sit out as much now. I did yesterday before they all went inside it was enjoyable. They really know how to make us smile.

Surprisingly, no I don't have a current issue with fighting. I have a total of 9 males. Five (2 are younger) in the LF flock and 4 in the bantams.

The goal by this spring is to reduce both flock to no more than 2 boys each.

The only birds I've had fight are Sully and Nibbler (dampierre). It's also the only time I've seen Sully get aggressive, but Nibbler was a bit of a pain so I'm guessing it was provoked.

For all the reasons of people say they don't like raising ducks, they sure make up for it with their personalities. About 1/2 of the Runners will just let me pick them up, give them a snuggle, and be on their way without freaking out.

Just wanted you to know the war on dux is progressing well..

We are beating back their terroristic little feathered butts..

And doing it with grace and style.

I do not have time to read all the pro dux propaganda right now, as I need to head out the door for church.

Been busy on the other endeavor of mine to save the country.
