Morning everyone. I cleaned the coops, my rooster wanted in my other flocks coop so I let him to see what he'd do.. My silkie rooster did nothing, neither did he... except fluff up and chase them for about 30 seconds before calming down and clucking for them to come eat with him. I spent some time with my chickens since I've been with the ducks most of the time. The guineas are on a thin rope right now, my lavenders are showers. So are my silkies which is why they are there own flock with the pullets. The guineas are also pulling feathers off each other, not the other chickens but each OTHER. They're ruining my muscovies necks and causing a lot of commotion. Well the boy is.. he's huge now at only 7 months and now he thinks he owns the hens. The chickens the guineas grew up with are fine, they won't mess with the rooster. Cookie is a fighting breed mix, I wouldn't mess with him either even if he is small. I found out his mix. OEGB mixed with Red cochin, and some Sumatra in him. He's small but big. I love my roosters and if my guineas were to start messing with him they'd be gone.
