Haha, yep! True in more ways than time zones. On student radio in the eighties, my city was described as, "an hour to the south and ten minutes into the future". While this indicates a speed of driving from the next city north which may well remove a driver from his or her earthly future, we have enjoyed being known as the "City of the Future" ever since.

The snow is mainly on the mountains, and it's always summer at Christmas, so unless I want to go hiking, snow and Christmas won't ever combine for me.
