Only thing I can think of is to start incubating a couple and candle them on day 3+. Then you'll be faced with stopping the incubation, or letting it continue to develop. I'm not sure if they get the bullseye on the yolk like chickens do. I've at least not seen it.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Mark! I can't even begin to explain what I've learned from him over the last few years. His YouTube channel is fantastic, and he covers a ton of gardening subjects. With his climate being almost identical to my own, I find his experience and effort to be irreplaceable.

Thanks for the feedback on him. I can try and see if the trick works, saves trouble from incubating them. My mom's uncle loves duck eggs and asked if he could have some, my mallard isn't a good layer so I don't want to waste the eggs.

I started a new thread. Just wanted to post a link here. I know we have heart to hearts here, and I love it, but that's the whole point of the new thread. I love having our life talks here and don't want them to stop, but I do want to extend the reach of those talks. We're all just human anyways and susceptible to the same crappy things in life.
