I can’t imagine needing to get a license for them!! So wait do you need a license for the small furry animals I listed too? Or just the reptiles/amphibians? Hamsters? Gerbils?

I can’t imagine not being able to just walk into a pet store and buy whatever you want haha

We don't have hampsters or gerbils here. And one of our northern states your not even allowed to own rabbits (big pest problem there) Furry animals you don't need license. Reptiles themselves aren't really sold in petshops here. You can buy all their gear but.

I can’t imagine that!! OMG!! The small furry animals are so cute!! But then again you guys have wild parrots flying around which is pretty awesome and I’ve always been jealous of haha

Those groups don’t want fair treatment of animals. They want NO domestic animals. Seriously, they’ve stated before they think we shouldn’t keep animals. HSUS too. If it was up to them, there would be no more pets!! And that is their goal. To eliminate them. They don’t even have shelters or help animals and put down most of the animals they do take in. PETA has also been known to stage videos. I remember one video in opposition of sheep shearing and they acted like the sheep got all bloodied and stuff in the process but I’m pretty sure they paid the farmers to hurt them for the video... some animal rights group huh!? The animal rights people think they should have the same rights as humans. Animal welfare groups actually care about animals but the animal rights ones are nutty!! And you can literally look up where the money goes to. Most of it is to lawyers and lobbying. Not to the animals. And they have gotten in legal trouble for staging videos before.

I only saw the images they released of the bearded guy with the bloody lamb, and that was all fake blood. I could ramble on for hours about my hate for them because the wool industry is close to my heart, but I won't. In a nut shell they hate us and we hate them.

we do have some very beautiful animals. My 2 favourite wild birds are yellow spoon bill and brolga. Our parrots are beautiful, but I'm a sucker foe the big birds.

I think that was probably the one I was thinking of! Glad to know it was fake blood and they didn’t actually hurt them but still sucks they even lied like that!! And yeah, I agree! Ha but apparently they also hate domestic pets as they are on a mission to kill as many animals as possible it seems. Even people who work there have said they often kill animals immediately which is illegal or they steal them from people
