Morning all! Storms are just starting over here so they are very wide spread! I don't think I could deal with the trouble of incubating emu or ostrich eggs. Waiting on duck eggs drives me insane.

I'm not looking forward to incubating duck eggs this spring. I really don't like incubating at all... it's much better when my broody hens take care of that for me. I've heard ducks take longer to actually hatch out, and that's the part of the hatch that stresses me out the most.

Yeah, out of 60 eggs in two identical incubators, this is literally the only egg like that. Humidity has been between 30-35% the entire time. I've never seen anything like it.

The eggs in the second incubator aren't due until next Friday, so if it starts to look weird I'll just toss it. I can't risk all of the other eggs.

They do! And muscovies take even longer. I think the truama from trying to hatch muscovy is why I decided to sell them off. We are getting nice gentle rainings here, but we need that torrential rain like they are getting on the coast. Only floodings going to fix it up out here. Another pro of ducks

All bar Lucky. The other ducklings went yesterday. They were stressing my hens out big time. Bunch of rowdy boys. If I ever get a place with huge coop space I'm sure I'll get more.

Hold me back, $25 sounds too cheap for white peacock eggs. And also.... what is the purpose of a peacock besides ordimental?
