Love these snows where it lays in the trees. It took a while to start laying since the ground isn’t frozen.

Heat pads are fantastic! I have the 30chick size cheapie and it did 20 ducklings, outside in a shed. Also I dunno how cold it is there but I saw in a hatchalong someone had a heat pad, that doubled as a coop heater. So could be used vertically and horizontally. May get more use out of that style?

How’s your Runners eye?

So far so good. She's had quite the life. This is her foot. Tip of her toe is gone. She's busting to meet the other runners.

When can she meet them?

She's met them through the fence. Possibly a proper meet and greet on the weekend. All the new birds seem healthy so far, and given the increase of mosquitoes they have probably all been contaminated anyway.
