Thats not a possum it's a demon rat!!! You know for a good nonth after joining byc I thought our possums were they same and was so confused! View attachment 2033075
What we have in the states is actual an Opossum, though the "O" is silent. Technically two different species. Both marsupials, but the possums in Oz are more closely related to the kangaroo, and much cutier. I'm pretty sure ours are closer related to the New York sewer rats.

It's been a long day, but we got to see lots of dogs, have some pizza, and enjoy some company. Xaiden got to meet 5 Danes, 2 Bull Mastiff, 1 Neo Masstif, 2 Weimaraners, and a Cane Corso. He did meet other dogs, but those are the large breeds he got to meet and interact with. It was great to see him with these big dogs. He was not scared, maybe a bit cautious, but he was all about meeting them. I told him if he wanted to meet a dog to let me know, and he got shy. Not me though, I took him to the first Dane I saw and taught him how to ask permission to say hi. After the first dog, he wanted to meet every big dog. "Daddy, lets say hi to that one!" :yesss:

Jonah was loving it too. That boy was constantly clapping and dancing around. It was so adorable. Some of the floats had live music on them and Jonah would just start clapping when he saw them. He's going to be my little concert buddy when I get to old to go to them by myself. ;)

Pictures are in no order, might be some repeats, there not cropped... Sorry, I'm tired. :) :caf

It was a pretty good time. Afterwards we went and got some lunch with @cra8ychix and her husband. Nice way to spend a Saturday.
