Working on integration this afternoon. I bright the Eng Orps out of their pin. So far the ladies have been just fine. The cockerel got inserted in to the pecking order right away. The "wosre" has actually came from the guinea, then the pack mentality of the Silkie boys kicked and they joined her... :he Those 3 really do make their own flock.

I was suprised with Sully and Umbra both. They simply said "Rawr, I'm number 1" and "Boo, I'm number 2" and that was about it.

Overall though it's going well. I'm just doing the last few hours of the day, then back in the pin to sleep. I'll do the same thing tomorrow and if it goes well I'll start working on transitioning them to the Shack to sleep.

The 15 minutes is up! Please tell me he came
Sorry, I started the above post before going to sell the bird. Had to get it out while it was fresh on the mind. ;)

He did indeed show up, and actually overpaid me, on propose. He only had a $20 so we went in the store for change. His change was $17. He gave me $15 right after I told him it was $12. I told him he gave me to much he just smiled and said "it's worth it my friend." It was only $3 but the sentiment sure was nice. Especially after dealing with the none committal people.

I plan on it. They are so cute!

It looked like the parade participants where about 1/2 adoption rescues and half obedience classes. It was pretty fun. Most people who where watching also had very well behaved dogs. There was only one person who was a bit snobby about letting people touch their dog. It happen to be the only Shar Pei in the whole place, so I'd imagine here was getting a lot of requests to stop and play. (I totally stopped him to play with his dog. Beautiful dog and great personality. So yes, I bothered him, and would do it again.)

The Dane and Mastiff owners where the best though. Almost like they expected to get stopped. Who'da thunk that? They had plenty of small children around them and the owners seemed to like it just as much as the children did.
The Shar pei is one of my least favorite dogs in the world. Their hair/skin makes me itch like I've touched insulation.
They slobber too much and snort too much. . almost as bad as a pug. :sick

I'm glad you got a good buyer! I had so many stuff me around in the beginning I almost gave up hope. And then the chicken man found me. Ever since he's litterally brought everything I've sold. He's basicly my agent now
It would be nice if I found my own chicken man. This guy is raising his own for meat and eggs. He showed me a few pictures too. It looked like a decent living space. He's using this cockerel for fresh blood, and did care to ask if it was pure Brahma. Seemed like a decent guy.
