I know I could start a new thread for this question, but you all seem like such knowledgeable people so I will just ask on here first. I have 5 drakes. Four hatched together in September (6 months old) and one hatched in June (9 months old). The oldest one doesn't even acknowledge that he is a duck so he isn't involved with this problem.
Problem: Past month the four have started "practicing" on each other except for Turner who is the one eyed, crooked-beaked, Buff. He just watches usually while the others mess around with each other. About a week ago I noticed them pinning the Buff down and just ripping out chunks of feathers. So I had been keeping an eye out to make sure it wasn't happening often. Well I walked out this morning to find a naked necked Buff and its bloody (not real bad) but I could see it was all bare and that there was blood before I even got to the coop... So I left the buff in the coop and let the others out to roam for the day.
Suggestions moving forward?
