Morning all..

I have purchased an anti-dux air battalion. They are arriving tomorrow. I have never had an air battalion before and am excited to get them.

I set up their barracks yesterday and am quite pleased with myself.

If mine are especially nasty, I wash them gently with warm water. I haven't found that it affects my hatch rate

I have nasty eggs in the bator 3 days from hatch. I only had 1 quitter

Mud.
I mean, yeah, of course it's mud.
I recently had some dirty eggs that I washed with warm water like @Pyxis suggested. They are under a broody and developing just fine. I actually scrubbed them because they where for my "yukk, is that egg dirty" sister to eat. They're Arucana and I wanted to give her some pretty eggs, but they're fertilized by my Marans boy and Sissy just wouldn't appreciate that lol. So I'm hatching them instead.

Hah... yeah probably not mud but it's better if I don't think about it. I just set them as is...all of the air cells are funky and detached, so I don't have the highest hopes for the runner eggs anyway.
