It’s getting pretty crazy here. We just almost lost power a bit ago. Lights flickered a couple times. Very very windy. All my birds are hiding inside atm. Budgies and cat are sleeping. Not sure what the fish is doing. :lau I unplugged one of my tanks and plugged it into the surge protector so the heater doesn’t blow or something wacky and kill Draco. The goldfish just have a filter so should be fine. I wish I had another surge protector for the heat mat thermostat for the plants though but I’ll just have to :fl
I hope everyone animal and human alike are okay. I'll send some "dont knock the power out" vibes. Maybe even some "please" vibes so the storm know I'm sincere. ;)

And I hope you can get the incubator, Chris!!
Me too. So far the measurements fit my house (which was an actual concern). Barley, it's 91" tall, and weighs 900lbs... I'm looking for a cabinet incubator though, and that has a massive cabinet lol.

They're pricey, but I love my brinsea 380 with the humidity pump.

My first thought at thw price difference on that monster was..... is the power cord still attached???
Lol,yea, it's said to function properly. Here's why it's so cheap...
In general, you can find the older models for as low as $1k, and that's what they did. They breed reptiles and had some Asian tortoises that needed a specific temp/humidity setting, so they bought the unit in question. They said their hatch rate instantly went up to 99%, and it worked great. Someone bought their breeding stock though, so they no longer need the incubator. They said they have smaller units that handle the rest of the varieties just fine. So it's in their way and they priced it to sell.

Those are nice but out of my budget. I was actually looking in to building a cabinet unit. The heaters/fans/controlers are around $250 for something the size of a Sportsman. This one is a bit out of my price range, but it offers WAY more opportunity.

Thank you!!! I would appreciate that!!! The storm has picked up a lot the last like half hour or hour or so so would you please tell it to back off and find someone else to bother? :lau

And oh wow that is a HUGE incubator!!! Hahah how many eggs does it hold!? :th

Kelsey I got through it long before it came to you. You'll do fine, just keep an eye on it as it looks like it's getting some lake effect moisture. Cold front meet warm front. Never a good thing.
