Yes from this storm. Just about a third of a large Post Oak. The pileated woodpeckers had been at it for years right where it broke. On the good side I have two years worth of nice firewood that just needs cutting up.

Oh wow that’s scary!!! And that’s a big tree!!

Looks like everyones having a busy day.@Magnolia Ducks good morning! I actually thought that branch was a type of gum to start with. Glad its only the drive way.
Thought I'd share a piece of history with you all about our new place while we are talking trees. These beautiful morton bay figs(there's 3) are over 120yrs old. These trees were planted here when the old Cob&Co mail service (think horse and cart) made this place one of their stops. Theres an old shop, blacksmiths workshop stables, cottages, school house etc still standing.

Just ornamental really. Google says you can eat the fruit that grows but it's not very palatable. Also says its seeds will germinate in another trees branches, send roots down around it and eventually strangle it so it can grow in it's place.
